A lovely quality LARGE banded agate and onyx necklace which has been crafted from sterling silver and is a vintage piece from the 1980's. This piece is set with natural banded agate on one side which has striking veining in red orange and white hues whilst the reverse is inset with whitby jet or onyx. The mount has a fancy patterned bail and an over sized hallmark around the outer edge and it is a substantial piece. It is suspended from a 20 inch quality sterling silver chain which is robust and sturdy NOT thin and flimsy. The pendant has a full UK hallmark and will arrive gift boxed. HALLMARKS/MARKS - Tudor Rose Sheffield-Lion Passant-f and makers mark LRW-chain-925. MEASUREMENTS - 5cm-1.34 inches including bail North to South BY 3.4cm-1.34 inches East to West-chain 20 inches. WEIGHT - 29.4 grams. STONES - banded agate-whitby jet or onyx. CONDITION - excellent-no damage to stone-light age related surface wear-any dark marks are just reflection.
